As a technology-first business, Vaiie is invested in the future of the RegTech industry and its development.

We firmly believe it is our responsibility to invest in the future generation of technology and digital leaders.

As part of our commitment to the Jersey Technology sector, Vaiie proudly sponsors the Student of the Year Tech Award at the Digital Jersey Tech Awards.

Chris Meyer, winner of the Digital Jersey's Student of the Year award, recently visited Vaiie to meet the team and learn a little bit more about our business.

During his visit, Chris was given an overview of the Vaiie business and a guided tour of Jersey Post, including the sorting and distribution centre. It was a pleasure to host Chris and learn more about his new business, CM Tech, and plans for the future. His enthusiasm sets a brilliant and promising example for young tech driven individuals and poses exciting questions for the future of RegTech.

Given the nature of our business and solutions, data, analytics and subsequently automation support a huge segment of our business and enable our postal operations and RegTech products to operate with maximum efficiency.

We understand that the future is digital, in all industries.

Chris said:

I love anything to do with IT and Technology and I am looking to have a career in this industry so winning the tech awards means a lot as it is an accomplishment for me and encourages me to do even more things. I believe that hard work pays off and I am happy to have my work recognised.

Rory Steel, Head of Digital Jersey Academy also came to meet Chris as part of his visit to Vaiie. Rory said:

It was incredibly insightful for Chris Meyer, Digital Jersey's Student of the Year, and I must admit, myself, to see all the bespoke automation that happens behind the scenes at Jersey Post to get our letters and parcels to the door each day. It's this kind of industry engagement with students that Vaiie, the award sponsors, and others must continue to further inspire a career in the Digital sector. Chris was fascinated to see and hear about all the exciting projects they have on the horizon. A career in digital is always evolving and rewarding.

Vaiie are proud to support Digital Jersey and our partnership with Victoria College and our sponsorship of the Student category of the Tech Awards demonstrates our commitment to supporting and investing in the future of islanders.
